On March 5th and 6th, 2015, CUE (an initiative of MAS) will convene the inaugural CUE TO CUE conference for urban entrepreneurs, examining the ways in which the spatial city – how it is planned, designed, zoned and regulated – can strengthen those city attributes essential to attracting and retaining entrepreneurs and cultivating independent businesses.
Entrepreneurs, civic leaders and urbanists will gather at CIVIC HALL, the new innovation space for the civic tech community, to discuss strategies to support the creation of a physical environment that encourages the success of entrepreneurs and small business. CUE TO CUE opens with a dynamic public discussion with hundreds of New Yorkers on March 5th followed by a kick-off party and continues on March 6th with an all-day invite-only working session. The event will produce a vital shared advocacy agenda for cities to support innovation and create economic opportunities through entrepreneurship.
